Pepper Mills

Wood pepper mills are awesome! Most of the mills I make are from a solid piece of tree, much like my bowls. However, I can utilize parts of the tree that I can't use for bowls. This way I can maximize the usability of a tree. Sometimes I select wood that has charming characteristics like spalting, knots, cracks, or transitions between sap wood and heart wood. Sometimes I like straight grain too.

Each mill comes with a ceramic CrushGrind mechanism with a manufacturer guarantee for 25 years. The upper part of the mill pulls straight up and opens to fill with pepper, salt, or herbs. On the bottom is a rotating dial to set for fine or coarse grinding.
